This is our second visit to this villa in 2 years and it's the only time we have ever returned to the same property. It's a very clean spacious villa which is well equipped. It is situated a short taxi drive from town if you stay in the height of summer like we did - or you can walk in if it's not so hot. But within easy walking distance are several restaurants including the Yelkin and the Brothers which we'd recommend. There's also a small supermarket within 2 minute's walk. The property is in a peaceful location and feels very private, especially at ground level. There are balconies on both the first and second floors so you are spoiled for choice when you want to sit out in the evening. The second floor bedroom doesn't have a door, but does have a gate across the stairs so it's safe (our 7/8 year old slept there) but it does mean it doesn't get as cool as other bedrooms with the air conditioning on. The kitchen is one of the cleanest I have come across and is easy to keep ant free, unlike others we have stayed in. The pool has steps and a shallow end with the deep end still being just in depth for someone who is 5'4". A really helpful touch is the provision of pool towels in addition to bathroom ones. This meant we only needed to pack 2 beach towels for the 4 of us given that the children never sit still on the beach and that helped with packing. We'd highly recommend this villa, and Kalkan. Kalkan is a small, friendly reset with easy taxi/car access to an amazing range of things including Patara beach and ruins (beautiful spacious fine sand beach), Xanthos beach (smaller beach with fine pebbles and good waves), and Saklikent gorge. The restaurants are great and the Thursday market with it's pancake pop up cafes is worth a visit.

A lovely villa, bright, spacious and very well kept. Jackie and Dave are fabulous hosts and will help with any enquiry you have. It has everything you need including air con, washing machine and a dishwasher. Dvd's, books and games for use and plenty of chairs and sun loungers round the lovely pool area. There is also a play area opposite the villa which is handy for young children. It's in a peaceful location with some nice restaurants within a 5 minute walk, (one of our favourites being Cafe Vita, they do a BBQ night once a week which is brilliant and the steak was the best we have had!). Kalkan and the old town is downhill but a pleasurable 10/15 min walk. We walked back up to the villa but taxis are cheap and readily available if you prefer. A boat trip to the sunken city is a must, fabulous day out on the boat with food included, which was delicious. Kalkan is a lovely town, friendly people and a visit to the town bakery is recommended! :) With a new, improved main road, travel to and from the airport and visiting other tourist spots is easy to do. After having a wonderful holiday as a couple, we are returning this year with the rest of the family to share this piece of paradise :)

A beautiful villa situated in an ideal spot. The rooms are spacious and very well furnished, air con is fantastic, and the pool area is beautiful, with steps going into the pool, making it easily accessible for everyone. The wrap around balcony is beautiful, and the garden is well kept and laden with fruit, with a lovely seating area and b-b- q. I have stayed at this stunning villa twice, and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anybody. You won’t regret it. Jackie and Dave are very helpful throughout the booking process, and are always readily available to answer any questions. 5 star accommodation!
